Case Studies
Tribal FERST Case Studies can be viewed by Tribal environmental professionals to explore success stories, examples, and processes that Tribal Nations have used to address various issues of environmental concern. Tools, partnerships, and resources used have been written into these case studies so that they can be used by Tribal professionals to address environmental injustices in Tribal communities.

To review and search through Tribal FERST case study documents, start by clicking the case studies tab on the main menu

Scroll down the page to view all case study documents that are on Tribal FERST. Once you come across a case study that you are interested in reading, you can open the document by clicking it.

Be sure to view the “How Did They Do It” section to read about specific partnerships, tools,and processes used to address environmental issues

If there is an environmental topic that you are unable to locate, or you would like to filter through available case studies to look for information on specific content of contaminants, click back to the Case Studies main page and click the Search Bar located in the center of the page. Here you can type in the topic that you would like to read about, then press “enter” on your keyboard to view available case studies on that topic.

If there are additional community and Tribal Nation programs, projects, case studies or success stories highlighting how Tribal Nation communities have addressed environmental issues that you would like to see added to Tribal-FERST, please contact us via email to submit a case study or provide suggestions.
