Frequently Asked Questions

How were these tools chosen?

The tools in the searchable menu on the Additional Tools page originated from two journal articles published in 2009 that describe tools available to communities for conducting cumulative exposure and risk assessments. Since then, we have continued to add tools for Tribal Nation community assessment and have listed additional top tools from EPA and other federal agencies on this page. If there are additional tools that you would like to see added to this section of Tribal-FERST, please contact us with your suggestions.
